The Field experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of cropping systems and nutrient management practices on yield, economics pearl millet in School Agricultural Science, Karunya Institute Technology Sciences, Coimbatore, India). laid out Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with two factors (Cropping system Nutrient management) three replications for consecutive seasons 2022-23. study comprised treatments namely C1 – Sole Pearl cropping, C2 - + Black gram intercropping (1:1), C3 Cowpea (1:1) along four viz., N1 100% Recommended dose fertilizer (RDF) @80:40:40 kg N, P2O5, K2O/ha., N2– 75% RDF Azospirillum @2kg/ha Phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) @2kg/ha, N3 Soil application (2kg/ha) PSB Foliar spray 2% urea @ 15 35 days after transplanting (DAT), N4 Panchagavya3% DAT. results experiment revealed that black or cowpea proves be beneficial advantageous terms of, grain yield returns per rupee invested, rather than going sole millet. On other hand, reduced inorganic recommended fertilizers by 25% inclusion biofertilizers like phosphate bacteria, foliar 3% Panchagavya will an economically viable environmentally sustainable practice improving
